Inomhusmiljön. En studie om pedagogernas resonemang kring inomhusmiljöns utformning på Reggio Emilia inspirerade förskolor utifrån barns lärande och utveckling

Sammanfattning: Syftet med vårt arbete är att undersöka och beskriva hur inomhusmiljön på ett antal svenska förskolor inspirerade av Reggio Emilia filosofin är organiserad. Vi vill studera detta utifrån den filosofi förskolan baserar sin verksamhet på och även i relation till förskolans läroplan Lpfö98. Utifrån detta syfte har vi två frågeställningar: Vad är det för tankar som ligger bakom organisationen av inomhusmiljön och vad är det som påverkar inomhusmiljöns utformande. Vi har använt oss av intervjuer och observationer som metod på fem olika förskolor som alla är inspirerade av Reggio Emilia filosofin där vi intervjuade pedagoger och observerade inomhusmiljön. Vi har därefter i resultatdelen redovisat för det vi kommit fram till i analysen av vår data. Resultatdelen har vi delat upp i fyra teman som vi kallar: 1. Inomhusmiljön på Reggio Emilia inspirerade förskolor. Här beskriver vi materiel och inomhusmiljöer såsom, låga möbler, fönster, speglar, ”rum i rummet” och konstruktionsmateriel som vi observerat på de förskolor vi besökt och som de har inspirerats av att använda utifrån Reggio Emilia filosofin. . Vikten av kommunikation och delaktighet. Under detta tema redogör vi för kommunikationens betydelse och pedagogernas syn på barnens delaktighet i inomhusmiljöns utformande. 3. Dokumentation som en del av inomhusmiljön. I Reggio Emilia filosofin är dokumentation en viktig del i arbetet och ses även som en del av inomhusmiljön. I resultatet redovisar vi hur pedagogerna i de förskolor vi besökt ser på arbetet med dokumentation. 4. Inomhusmiljön som hinder eller möjlighet för barns lärande och utveckling. Här berättar vi om vad pedagogerna anser är de största hindren eller möjligheterna med en Reggio Emilia inspirerad inomhusmiljö. Här skriver vi även vad pedagogerna tänker kring att arbeta utifrån läroplanen samtidigt som de arbetar Reggio Emilia inspirerat. Reggio Emilia filosofin växer i världen och inomhusmiljöns betydelse för barns lärande och utveckling har det forskats mycket om (Wallin, 003). Därför anser vi att detta arbete har betydelse för läraryrket.

“Min plats i biosfären” är en skrift som presenterar forskningsresultat om vilken roll kulturmiljön och de kulturella ekosystemtjänsterna kulturarv och platsidentitet har för människors välbefinnande och för hållbar landskapsförvaltning inom Biosfärområde Vänerskärgården med Kinnekulle. Resultaten i skriften baseras på forskningsprojektet “Kulturmiljö och kulturarv som en del av hållbar landskapsförvaltning” och har genomförts av forskare vid Göteborgs universitet och Högskolan i Gävle.

The (d)evolution of the cyberwoman?

In this text, we examine Donna Haraway’s idea of a liberating potential of cyborgization first in the subsequent versions of Stepford Wives (the novel, the 1975 movie, and the 2004 movie), and second in the evolution of the character of a cyberwoman, from the book, Do androids dream electric sheep? (1977), through its film version, Blade Runner (1983), to William Gibson’s Neuromancer (1984) and Idoru (1996), ending with Trinity from Matrix trilogy. We show that cyborgization does not automatically denote liberalization; and suggest that the much greater popularity of Matrix films compared to the intellectual projects of William Gibson show that stereotypes and strong plots survive, finding ever new forms of expression. We end the paper pointing out the relevance of popular culture models for work in contemporary homes and other workplaces.
Virtual Servants: Stereotyping Female Front-Office Employees on the Internet

This article focuses on the service providers of the future: virtual assistants on the Internet. Recent technological developments, supported by intensive research on artificial intelligence, have enabled corporations to construct ‘virtual employees’ who can interact with their online customers. The number of virtual assistants on the Internet continues to grow and most of these new service providers are human-like and female. In this article I profile virtual employees on the Internet — who they are, what they do and how they present themselves. I demonstrate that the Internet suffers from the same gender stereotyping characteristic of customer services in general and that the unreflective choice of female images is, at the minimum, a symbolic reinforcement of the real circumstances of gender divisions in customer service.
Web Woman: The On-line Construction of Corporate and Gender Images

One of the many interesting applications of information technology is 'business on the net' and, within this trend, the appearance of virtual females whose job it is to assist customers by giving advice and delivering information. These creatures raise a host of interesting questions about corporate image, but also about humanness and femininity. Who or what do they represent: the companies that produced them? their designers? society's dreams - both open and forbidden? Although we cannot aspire to provide final answers to these questions, we do try to formulate the questions in this paper and frame them in contexts that seem to be promising.
