Anestesiologers erfarenheter av vård och behandling av patienter med substansbruksproblematik: En intervjustudie

Bakgrund: Användningen av illegala substanser i samhället är ett växande problem. Substanser som opioider och bensodiazepiner används inom den perioperativa vården, vilket kan vara problematiskt för patienter med en tidigare eller nuvarande substansbruksproblematik. Anestesiologen arbetar i teamet i nära samarbete med anestesisjuksköterskan och är ytterst ansvarig för anestesin. Syfte: Syftet är att beskriva anestesiologers erfarenheter och upplevelser av att vårda och behandla patienter perioperativt som har en nuvarande eller tidigare substansbruksproblematik. Metod: Examensarbetet har genomförts genom en kvalitativ intervjustudie med anestesiologer på ett sjukhus i Västra Götaland. Insamlad data har analyserats i enlighet med Braun & Clarks tematiska analysmetod. Resultat: Resultatet visade att anestesiologerna upplever att det finns risk att patienter med tidigare eller nuvarande substansbruksproblematik underbehandlas samt att de kan riskera återfalla i ett substansbruk. Vidare uttrycker anestesiologerna konsekvenser om inte all information om patienten finns inför anestesin. Anestesiologerna beskriver även utmaningar med att kunna lita på patienten, utföra en individanpassad medicinering samt att kunna erbjuda patienterna en effektiv smärtlindring. Resultatet visade även att det finns en möjlighet att individanpassa vården om information finns angående patientens tillstånd inför anestesin. Det finns tillgång till alternativa analgetiska strategier och teamet har en stor betydelse för vården av dessa patienter. Slutsats: Att vårda patienter med en tidigare eller nuvarande substansbruksproblematik utgör en större utmaning för anestesiologer inom anestesin och vidare forskning inom området är därav av stor vikt.
“Det går att inkludera sexualitet, samtycke och relationer i alla ämnen.”: En kvalitativ studie om SRHR i gymnasieskolan

Sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) are essential for overall health and are considered human rights. Comprehensive education in the field of SRHR is crucial for young people to achieve good sexual and reproductive health and increase the likelihood of their rights being respected. In the fall of 2022, the upper secondary school curriculum in Sweden was updated to include an equality perspective in education, as well as teaching students about gender norms, sexuality, consent, and relationships. This qualitative study utilizes concepts from gender and feminist research to examine students' education on SRHR issues at the upper secondary level. It focuses on how gender norms are made visible among the students. The study explores how teachers work to include the topics of equality, gender norms, sexuality, consent, and relationships in their teaching. It also investigates the teachers' experiences and perspectives on their opportunities for competence development. The data is collected through semi- structured interviews. The results indicate that boys seem to be less informed about sexual relations, consent and sexual assault possibly because of gender norms. Teachers include the topics equality, gender norms, sexuality, consent and relationships in their teaching in varying degrees, which appears to depend on their level of interest in these subjects, available time, and opportunities for competence development.
Glodomestication – IT Works both Ways. The linkage of Indian IT INVs’ internationalization process and creation of a competitive advantage

During the past years, the phenomenon of International New Ventures (INV) from emerging markets has been increasingly acknowledged where globalization has facilitated their internationalization into new foreign markets. As a result, this has led to the creation of a more dynamic and global market place, which has increased the need for firms to distinguish themselves through their competitive advantage. Yet, despite the significant presence of Indian Information Technology (IT) INVs, these have not received equal attention in research. Scholars have focused on firms’ internationalization process or creation of competitive advantage respectively, thus making previous studies insufficient to independently explain the linkage in this novel context seen from an Indian perspective. This study aims to examine the linkage between the internationalization process and the creation of a competitive advantage and explain how the linkage has evolved over time by studying three Indian IT INVs; I-exceed, Technoforte, and Sapience Analytics. The case firms have been examined based on six in-depth interviews held with founders and senior managers. The empirical findings of each case firm have been analyzed in relation to a theoretical framework based on literature of the internationalization process and the resource management of the firm, followed by a comprehensive cross-comparison of all cases. The key findings propose that the linkage between the internationalization process and the creation of a competitive advantage is an interrelated process of two mutually dependent phenomena, where the correlation and development of them are influenced by particularly three factors: founders’ experience, industry knowledge, and network through global Multinational Corporation (MNC) customers. Further, the findings suggest that the development of the linkage over time follows an interlinked manner through three distinct phases; Identification and Accumulation of Resources and Capabilities, INV Growth through Glodomestication to Create the Competitive Advantage, and Maturity and Stability for Continued Glodomestication to Sustain the Competitive Advantage.

I vår studie ville vi undersöka och synliggöra hur en populärkulturell produkt konstruerar och porträtterar ungas sexualitet. Som grund för vår analys valde vi att titta på filmatiseringen av Linas kvällsbok som ett exempel på en populärkulturell produkt. Syftet med vår studie är att utifrån en socialkonstruktionistisk ansats undersöka hur ungas sexualitet konstrueras och porträtteras i filmatiseringen av Linas kvällsbok samt synliggöra vilka normer och föreställningar som präglar denna konstruktion. För att få svar på våra frågeställningar har vi använt oss av begreppen sexuella skript, genus och identitet. För att nå vårt resultat har vi använt oss av en kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Vi presenterar vår analys genom utvalda citat som vi tycker representerar hur filmen konstruerar och porträtterar sexualitet i helhet. Resultatet visar att filmatiseringen i stor utsträckning porträtterar stereotypa bilder av ungdomars sexualitet utifrån föreställningar kring bland annat tvåsamhet, heteronormativitet, ålder samt kön där unga tjejer och killar förväntas agera olika gällande sin sexualitet.
