This essay studies the christening rites in Church of Sweden and what theological motives that are present herein, and how the current revision of the rites have brought in new theological motives with the basis in the contemporary theological debate about the liturgy and theology surrounding the christening rites. The conclusion of the essay is that the revised christening rites have not included any new motives, but has rather restructured and re-emphasized the motives to adopt the christening rites to the findings of contemporary research regarding the christening.
Klingner för Masthugget Folkkyrkotankens roll för utvecklingen i Masthugget under 1904–1936

The early 20th century saw the Church of Sweden (Svenska kyrkan) come under threat from the modernization of the Swedish society. As a reaction to this and a way to secure the survival of the church a number theologians came up with a theological framework for the folk church (folkkyrkotanken). The parish of Masthugget was one of the poorest in the entire diocese of Gothenburg in the beginning of the 20th century. This is where Gottfrid Klingner came to serve first as a pastor and later as the vicar for more than 30 years. In which way did his view on the church affect life for the inhabitants in his parish and how were his actions affected by the framework for the folk church? This paper shows that the practice of Klingner in Masthugget can be linked to many of the ideas associated to the folk church concept.
Skillnader i attityder till sexualitet och sexuellt beteende hos konfirmandledare i Svenska kyrkan

I den här studien har jag undersökt skillnader vilka attityder konfirmandledare inom Svenska kyrkan har angående sexualsyn och sexuella läggningar. Vidare har jag undersökt hur bekväma de känner sig att bedriva sexualundervisning inom den konfirmandundervisning som man tillhandahåller, och om det finns något samband med hur religiöst konservativa konfirmandledarna förväntas vara. Undersökningen är gjord som en enkätundersökning som besvarats av 70 respondenter från Växjö och Karlstad stift. Resultatet visar att man inom Svenska kyrkan i de undersökta stiften inte kan se att konservativa religiösa åsikter påverkar attityderna till sexualitet, sexuell läggning eller den egna viljan att agera sexualupplysare inom konfirmationsundervisningens ramar.
