    Tabu & Impuls

    This is my work about the subject taboo and impulse. It is an artistic study inspired by the neuropsychological concerning impulsiveness. Because that’s what it is; an artistic bachelor exam work, and not a scientific research. I created three costumes inspired by taboo and impulse. As a material I used candy strings (“godissnören”) in the flavours: liquorice, strawberry and caramel. Follow my struggle towards the materials transience that is both chimerically fascinating and unbelievably frustrating. I raise the question; is it technically possible to build costumes out of candy? And my answer is yes; it is possible! But it may not be what you first hoped. Mitt arbete berör ämnet tabu och impuls. En konstnärlig studie inspirerat av det neuropsykologiska med impulsivitet. För det är just vad det är; ett konstnärligt kandidatexamensarbete, och ingen vetenskaplig forskning. Jag gestaltar tabu och impuls i tre stycken kostymer. Som material har jag använt godissnören, i smakerna; lakrits, jordgubb och kola.
