    This artwork explores the craft marbling in a spatial installation based on the concept of storytelling and figure making. Through my naivistic expression, the characters in the space create a canvas for a narrative in the dyeing technique of marbling. It is traditionally a craft for book covers that is very uncommon today. This creates a place where strange creatures and vivid stories seemingly come pouring out of an old marbled-covered fable; a room dressed in colours tickling the imagination. By asking questions about the imaginative mind, childishness and the abscence of colours in modern society, I want to give the spectator an experience out of the ordinary. A place which one can descend into, forgetting about the present, even for just a moment. During the exhibition days, a conclusive note was left saying: I am in a dream.
