| dc.description.abstract | The national network Diet, Heath and Nutrition was established in 2005 with the main purpose of strengthening research and the PhD programmes in the Department of Food, Health and Environment and Clinical Nutrition at the University of Gothenburg, the Department of Domestic Science at Uppsala University and the Department of Food Science at Umeå University. The network received funds from the Swedish Agency for Networks and Cooperation in Higher Education in order to facilitate increased mobility of students at advanced level among the participating departments. An inventory of courses at advanced level and prerequisites for enrolling in those was developed. A number of internal meetings were held at the departments as well as two video-conferences. Also invited to the conferences were other departments at other universities where related programme are given. It was agreed that every department should organise their courses according to different levels and that the different departments course programmes should be interlinked through their home pages. This has now been implemented. | swe |
