Implementing the case-method into undergraduate educa-tion in History The purpose of the project is to introduce the case-method into under-graduate education in History. This has been achieved by constructing a number of cases, i.e. short narratives, on central historical issues. These issues have then been discussed at case-seminars. The benefits of this method are that our teaching can be related to current research; that we can make the study of history tangible without omitting a theoretical perspective; that the students are encouraged to independent, critical analysis; and, not least, that student motivation seems to improve. The cases produced within the project will be published as a text-book.en
