dc.description.abstract | Mobile devices come with a number of challenges that
affect the design of the software architecture for mobile
applications. Some of these challenges can be resolved by
reusable architectural solutions. In this study, we investigate
the feasibility of a generic reference architecture for
mobile devices by mapping reference model and architectural
patterns. Volvo IT has an existing reference model
used for construction of reference architecture for Java EE
and .NET development tracks; we explore the possibility of
utilizing the outcome of this study at this company by considering
their reference model. Since the proposed solution
does not focus on any mobile technology, this study can be
continued in further design details by considering different
mobile technologies. | sv |
