Abstract
In modern society today, there are high demands on what a skilled worker must be able to do. This includes understanding the entire production process in the chain. Just to understand the practical work in the workshop is not enough today, but you also need to understand the theory of the work done. The purpose of this paper is to determine whether interaction with the theoretical subjects can benefit student learning. The reason for my choice of study is to see if interaction between theory and practice can promote students' lifelong learning. I also discuss the difficulties that may lie in this process. Through a literature review and a qualitative case study, I got the information that I have worked in my research. The results show that the teachers believe that collaboration would benefit the students but that there are organizational difficulties and frameworks that complicate this process. Based on the literature review and the results I came to, it is concluded that an interaction between the theoretical and practical subjects would benefit students.
