The field of accident causation analysis deals with the analysis of data gathered after traffic accidents. The goal is to develop new techniques to prevent future accidents and save more human lives. This paper, through an action design research approach at SAFER, provides a tool that helps in identifying causation patterns from accident data presented in the form of charts. The paper examines different analysis techniques of accident causation data, as well as show how action design research was used in this case. The paper also examines the effects of ADR on the organization as well as the implication of adopting user involvement.sv
