Att leva på sitt gröna företag - bärodling i kombination med plantskoleverksamhet
To make a living at the green business - berry combined with nursery operations
Abstract
This work is largely about being able to make a living in the green industry. The problem I have chosen to consider is the uneven recourse requirements in Swedish nurseries. This is a problem for both the employer and the employee. I have examined three growers practice and experience of combined operations at nurseries, the berry and selve-serve cultivation. The goal was to find well-founded proposals for an existing nursery so that it can be developed to exploit knowledge, areas and recourses in a better way. Based on a conscious general approach to reasoning the thesis becomes interesting to the public. The starting point has been to combine nursery operations with different types of berry but I've also dealt with other opportunities that have arisen over time. The presentation of the existing nursery and summaries of three interviews coupled with the proposals becomes my results. I have come to the conclusion that there are many opportunities to develop a nursery business. If you want to add extra weight to make use of the knowledge resources that exist within the company, selve-serve berry is an excellent option. Synergies can be large between the plant sale and the selve-serve operation giving the staff the opportunity to use their expertis in advising on choice of cultivar and growth habit.
