dc.description.abstractThis research elicits how undocumented children and young adults construct and experience their everyday life in Gothenburg, Sweden. The construction or lack of construction of a future depending on a non citizenship is analyzed and considered to be the point of departure for other researchers willing to imbue themselves in the erection of intercultural societies where undocumented migrants´ rights can be guaranteed and respected. The research makes a journey through the most relevant English written literature regarding undocumented children´s rights and life conditions in a structural perspective. Precise laws that protect undocumented children in Sweden are addressed. Finally, conducting unstructured research interviews with four participants a passage through their everyday lives is depicted and analyzed under a rights perspective and using symbolic interactionism as background theory while considering them as active social agents.sv
