Lillhärjåbygget is a cultural reserve in the county of Härjedalen, consisting of a farm situated far away from roads and society. The sisters Eva and Ann Eriksson are running the farm in a mainly traditional way, revolving around a traditional bovine species grazing the outfields in a way not utilized in modern day farming. This report addresses the differences between outfield grazing on Lillhärjåbygget historically and today. As the unique traditions and knowledge about outfield grazing at Lillhärjåbygget faces the danger of falling into oblivion, the report can hopefully also be used as groundwork for future management plans. The results are presented through an interview with the two farmers. The interview shows differences as well as similarities between historical and present day outfield grazing at Lillhärjåbygget, mainly concerning herding. The work material was obtained through interviews and literature studies. No regular field studies have been conducted.sv
