Abstract
Denna uppsats bygger på huvudproblemet: Vilka Faktorer Påverkar IT-relaterad
Gruppkommunikation Inom Organisationer? Med delfrågorna; Hur ser den dagliga
kommunikationen ut på arbetsplatserna? Hur kan kommunikationen påverkas av individen? Syftet
med uppsatsen är att utreda vilka faktorer som påverkar gruppkommunikation positivt
och negativt samt hur kommunikationen påverkar det dagliga arbetet i en organisation.
Till denna studie har fyra intervjupersoner, från fyra olika organisationer, valts ut att delta
i en strukturerad intervju som gjordes med hjälp av en intervjuguide. För att analysera de
kvalitativa data som utvunnits ur intervjuerna användes en metod för att skapa mönster
och se teman. Detta presenteras genom uttagna citat från intervjuerna för att ge en rikare
bild av den insamlade data.
Resultatet kunde påvisa stora brister i så väl formell som informell kommunikation, där
epost visade sig vara ett av det största enskilda problemen. Flera brister identifierades i
form av otillräcklig utbildning samt avsaknad av riktlinjer för kommunikation och
informationsspridning.
Description
This thesis builds on the core problem: What Factors Affect IT-related Group Communication
within Oragnizations? With sub-questions: How does the daily communication in the workplace
present itself? How can the individual affect communication? The purpose of this paper is to
investigate which factors influence group communication positively and negatively, and
how communication affects the daily work in an organization. For this study, the four
interviewees, from four different organizations, have been selected to participate in a
structured interview conducted with the help of an interview guide. To analyse the
qualitative data derived from interviews, a method of creating patterns and themes was
used. This is presented by selected quotations from the interviews in order to provide a
richer depiction of the collected data.
The result could indicate large gaps in both formal and informal communication, where
email turned out to be one of the biggest single problems. Several deficiencies were
identified in the form of inadequate training and lack of guidelines for communication
and information dissemination.
