Abstract

When food is produced, enormous amounts of water are needed to make that happen. Since the water for that is more quickly used than it can be restored, there ‘s a need for people to go on a more sustainable “water diet”. This project is about how a designer might influence the eating behaviour of families with mainly primary school children into more sustainable eating. First it goes a little deeper into the theoretical fields of behaviour change, environmental and health education, then follows the explanation of the designed campaign. This campaign starts with an eye catching food mob and continues to pop up regularly throughout 1 year. An important element in the campaign is the website. For that website, the outlines for the graphical charactre and the main user structure are being developed.
