Inlärning på gymnasiet: Vilka möjligheter finns att tillgodose elevens individuella inlärningsstil? En kvalitativ studie av hur fyra lärare och deras elever arbetar med inlärningsstilar
Abstract
This is a C-report for a teacher training exam at School of Education and
researching by the University of Gothenburg. This paper will answer the question
if there is a balance between the goal to adapt to the students individual needs
and the fact that there must be a curriculum for the school to follow. In order to
do this, an analysis is made, based on question forms, knowledge about teaching
and updated restrictions concerning the subject. The knowledge about teaching
is, among others, based upon Lena Boström's and Hans Wallenberg's book:
Inlärning på elevernas villkor inlärningsstilar i klassrummet. Models and tools
used are taken from the suggested course literature and also from
recommendations of people with insight in the subject.
The answer to the question, if there is a balance between the collective
group and every individuals needs, is that the school of today has improved a lot,
but still has a long way to go to be considered a success. There is also a great
difference between different schools and how they have chosen to handle the
curriculum.
However, to remain successful, all schools must continuously seek to
counteract threats and weaknesses; both stated in this report and others that
may occur along the way.
