dc.description.abstractThe recent development of web applications has caused companies and developers to have more alternatives while choosing a new solution. The aim of this study is to compare IndexedDB, the local storage of the latest web applications’ standard “HTML5”, with Android SQLite. This comparison is designed to clarify the position of web application against native application in the field of local data storage according to developers’ concern that are obtained through exploratory interviews and Volvo Group Target Architecture (VGTA). The investigation is conducted using mixed method approach and for data collection literature review and prototype testing were used; also we utilized thematic analysis along with descriptive analysis for data analyzing.sv
