dc.description.abstractThere are an increasing number of software development platforms on the mobile market and different programming languages to target each platform. An emergent HTML5 is a cross-platform solution for the development of mobile application. The objective of this study is to review the benefits and drawbacks of developing HTML5 applications on mobile devices in comparison with native client development. We will refer to an HTML5 prototype application as a case study to illustrate the ideas presented. This study makes suggestions for selecting the best mobile development paradigms.sv
