The Government of Indonesia teamed up with UNESCO in August 2014 to organize the “Global Media Forum: The roles of media in realizing the future we want for all”. Experts, academics, journalistsKey discussions from the Global Media Forum are reflected in this publication, thereby allowing a wider public to engage with the debates about the importance of communication and the free flow of information in pursuit of social and human development. and media from around the globe met in Bali and shared their views on the roles that media could play in pursuit of social and human development.
