dc.description.abstract | Software architecting is one of the major phases in software development. A software architecture design should meet the desired functional and quality requirements of a system. Sometimes, the quality properties are in contrast with each other such as cost and CPU utilization which is achieved by a more expensive CPU. It makes hard for an architect to design architecture accompanied by optimizing all the desired quality properties. On the other hand, these days systems are getting more complicated by applying high technologies. Also, time to market is an important matter in developing a system. All these matters make architecting a difficult job. Hence, it is the time to make this job automated.
One of the main concerns in designing software systems is preventing problems by bottlenecks. It should be considered at the time of architecting. If it is ignored, it might be led to fundamental problems in the product. This research focuses on this problem and tries to find some approaches to solve it automatically in architecture designs. | sv |
