| dc.description | Background: The participation observed in terms of the elderly and their relatives has showed that the participation in making decisions leads to good health care and nursing. If the care team can work together with relatives of the elderly and develop a partnership that provides the health care to have common goals will the resources be utilized in the best way. Purpose: The aim of this study was to describe family members' experiences of involvement in the care of their older relatives in special housing. What factors are important for relatives' involvement in the care of their elderly relatives? Method: The approach is qualitative with semi-structured interviews, which leads to a manifesto analysis. Results: Factors highlighted as important in the sense of good participation include the importance of good communication, to have a good relationship and to feel the security of the relative. Factors that impede the sense of participation is insecurity and to have a sense of the relative as a burden. Conclusion: The result demonstrates the importance of good treatment of committed health professionals and nurses who also have the ability to communicate and create good relationships and a feeling of security. | sv |
| dc.description.abstract | Bakgrund: Betydelsen av delaktighet uppmärksammas vad det gäller äldre och deras anhöriga. Man har sett att delaktighet vid beslutsfattanden leder till bra vård och omvårdnad. Kan vårdteamet arbeta tillsammans med den anhörige för den äldre utvecklas ett partnerskap som ger vården förutsättning att ha ett gemensamt mål där den äldres resurser tas tillvara på bästa sätt. Syfte: Studiens syfte var att belysa anhörigas upplevelser av delaktighet i vården av sina äldre anhöriga på särskilda boenden. Vilka faktorer har betydelse för anhörigas upplevelse av delaktighet i vården av sin äldre anhörig? Metod: En kvalitativ metod med semistrukturerade intervjuer vilka leder fram till en manifest analys. Resultat: Faktorer som belyses som viktiga för känslan av god delaktighet är bland annat vikten av god kommunikation, att ha en god relation samt att få känna trygghet som anhörig. Faktorer som motverkar känslan av delaktighet är otrygghet och att ha en känsla av belastning som anhörig. Slutsats: Resultatet påvisar vikten av ett gott bemötande hos engagerad vårdpersonal och sjuksköterska som dessutom har förmågan att kunna kommunicera, skapa goda relationer och inge trygghet. | sv |
