LEDARSKAP INOM EKONOMISKTBISTÅND En kvalitativ studie om fem socialsekreterares upplevelser av ledarskap

Abstract
Abstract: The aim of this study is to describe social workers’ experiences and conceptions of leadership. The main question in the study is how does social workers experiences leadership? Furthemore what conceptions there are regarded from a professional aspect? The study also points out advantages and limitations there are with different kinds of leadership styles. The method used in the study is a qualitative method. Humanbeings are complex in nature; therefore the study uses semi-structured interviews. Results of the study pin points that all of the social workers prefer democratic leadership style. The conclusion of the study is that social workers tend to prefer leaders that are explicit. Leaders who react and act are preferred over leaders that are passive or leaders that are selective.
