dc.description.abstract | This thesis aims to investigate how individuals understand and value music in the context of
producing taste in music. Through interviews, community posts regarding Spotify and old concert
reviews this research considers experience, learning and environment to be key factors in making
the distinction between good and bad music. The induvial perception can explain why we think
differently, while the correlation between the socially communicated taste and the tunes that are
considered pleasurable not always is perfect. | sv |
