dc.description.abstract | This essay covers the double construction of the concert venue, the social form and the material form, and it’s effects on the musical experience for the people visiting the venue. The case study in this essay is Truckstop Alaska, a rock/punk/hardrock- venue in Gothenburg. People create places through collective action and the ongoing restructuring that fills the place with meaning, separating it from the space around it. | sv |
