Cloud services have become increasingly popular in the past years. The attractiveness of reduced operational costs and elasticity to fluctuating loads are prompting more organizations to migrate to the cloud. However, there exists inertia when it comes to migrating business critical systems. Often these legacy systems have been under development for years and in many cases decades, which complicates the process. This paper aims to investigate how to cloudify a legacy batchprocessing system. Subsequently, cross-cutting concerns of the cloud migration are presented to be used as a foundation for organizations deciding whether to migrate to the cloud.sv
