Att trivas, stanna eller lämna? - En studie om socialsekreterare inom ekonomiskt bistånd.

Abstract
A quantitative survey was used to investigate how experiences of work and organizational factors linked to support and resources affect job satisfaction and turnover intentions among social workers within social assistance. The main findings shows that the work is characterized by time conflicts, but that organizational support, staff orientation and experience of an attractive workplace can weigh up the negative effects of time conflicts. Staff orientation, organizational support and the experience of an attractive workplace decrease turnover intentions and increases job satisfaction. There is however a need for future research to further examine those variables among social workers within social assistance and to try to identify illegitimate (unnecessary or unreasonable) work tasks which can affect the experiences of time conflict so those can be reduced.
