dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this project is to interpret Ming chair through story telling concept. The narrative is based on my personal travel experiences, in particular how I spontaneously encounter with people from other culture and share different viewpoints on conventions. By Setting a start point on a Chinese historical artefact, I am interested in taking Ming chair out of the traditional box and develop it into a contemporary version. With various design method application, my goal is to present a chair with playful form language inspired from Ming chair. | sv |
