Description of project
This CD recording represents the composer’s recent chamber opera Mirandas Atemwende which constitutes the second act to his earlier opera Die Geisterinsel based on Shakespeare’s Tempest. It incorporates text by poets Paul Celan and J.H. Prynne. Additionally included on the CD is the chamber work Plus Minus which appears to be the first full realization of Karlheinz Stockhausen’s ”polyvalent process composition” Plus Minus from 1963.
