Red Rover - Live Performance and Performance as Political Assembly Artistic Research and Development Workshop
Summary
Over a five-day artistic research and development workshop-Performance as Political Assembly-Coble and eight other international artists collaborated to create and perform the live work Red Rover, queering the children’s schoolyard game of the same name. This was done in response to a commission by KODE-Art Museums of Bergen’s inquiry on free elections and the 2017 parliamentary elections in Norway. The live work debuted as part of Voices/Stemmer-International Performance Weekend the day before the elections.
