Sad Arousal is na ongoing music-poetry project developed by André Alves and Warren Enström, researching forms of poetry and writing which develop a relation between negative affects or ugly feelings as a form of desire.
Description of project
Sad Arousal is na ongoing music-poetry project developed by André Alves and Warren Enström, researching forms of poetry and writing which develop a relation between negative affects or ugly feelings as a form of desire. The project pays particular attention to the different registers affect can achieve through the role of poetic translation into forms of songwriting. Sad Arousal gave a short concert at the exhibition "So-What-Party" taking place at Gallery Monitor, developing music explorations of writings by CAConrad, Essex Hemphill and Per Gessle.
