Affects as agents of strategic reality construction.
Summary
“Affects as agents of strategic reality,” describe the potential of affect deployed as artistic performative agents of transformation and change.
Description of project
The conference Drama Boreale 2018, was organized about and through the specific focus on how we can use the explorative question of what drama-inspired processes have been and can be an answer to. It is deeply related with the possibility of practice-led research in the construction of future agencies, and the critical and practical articulation of interrelational processes between and among systems.
The paper “affects as agents of strategic reality,” present the possibility of affect to be deployed as strategic realities, as departure points for artistic practices through which formulations of future perspectives can be formulated.
This presentation sought to contribute to perspectives of knowledge production, following John O’ Tool’s conception “methodologies of the third space”, in which practice-led researching processes generate both descriptive, interpretative and are in a performantive process of transformation and change, materializing results in and by itself, and with the help of an extended and inter-dynamic ecology of knowledge and knowings.
