Abstract
Purpose: This study aims to explore how Swedish organizations precede or strategically act to gain trust in HR analytics, what challenges they identify in the process of implementation and how they strategically act to tackle them.
Theory:
Strategy as practice theory is used in means of better understanding the phenomena in light of defining practitioners, practice and praxis while analysing the process of strategizing and how different actors and actions interacts. Furthermore, trust concept and definition is used to better understand the meaning and content of it.
Method:
This study is a qualitative research conducted in 7 Swedish organizations. The empirical data is collected through semi-structured interviews with 13 participants. The target group of this study have been professionals working with HRA in different organizations. The interviews conducted were then coded in text-to-text format where we developed different thematic codes. The analysis of the data was done by viewing the results through a strategy as practice perspective.
Result:
This study finds and describes different strategies that organizations use to gain trust in HRA. The study maps out the challenges that organizations face during the implementation phase as well as how they tackle these challenges.
