“Estação Encontro” (En: “Meeting Season”) was an artistic event curated by André Alves, Filipa Araújo and Max Fernandes and presented at Sociedade Martins Sarmento (Guimarães, Portugal). “Estação Encontro” departing from a chronicle by Dom Tolentino de Mendonça titled “Protocolos de Encontro”, in which the contemporary everyday is described as harming the capacity to encounter and to listen the other. “Estação Encontro” consisted of a number of scripted situations including dramatizations, a workshop, performances and a round-table (led by Carla Cruz, Juan Luis Toboso and Magda Henriques).
