dc.description.abstractPurpose: The purpose of this research is to explore the integration of African immigrant women into the cleaning sector of Sweden Theory: The theoretical framework for this research is based on Granovetter social embeddedness theory, social identity theory and intersectionality theory Method: This is a qualitative research Result: The results from this research show that Social networks play a big role in the integration of African immigrant women into the cleaning sector/labor market. The social networks consist of both weak ties and strong ties. The cleaning job has however created both positive and negative implications on the day to lives of the immigrant women. There are also a lot of perceptions around working in Sweden and the cleaning jobsv
