The aim of this study has been to examine experiences of social workers regarding working from home, that have arisen due to Covid-19. More specifically their experiences and management of physical, mental and social health. The questions at issue in this study were how do social workers perceive their physical, mental and social health in relation to teleworking? How do social workers deal with any difficulties in their physical, mental and social health that may arise in relation to teleworking? To answer the purpose of the study, we have used a qualitative method, more specifically semi-structured interviews. A total of six interviews of 40-60 minutes were conducted. Our data have then been analyzed using work/family border theory and coping. The material has therefore been analyzed in a Human Relations as well as psychological context. The main finding was that the respondents experienced ergonomic shortcomings in the home environment as well as inadequate support in material from the employer. Further findings were an experience of less stress at home and a reduced conflict between work and family. Additional findings were a major lack of social contact with colleagues and an increased sense of isolation. However, the general experience of remote work was positive. All respondents wanted to continue working from home to some extent after the pandemic.sv
