dc.description.abstractThis study aims to find student misconceptions when solving problems involving percent. The study involves students in 8th and 9th grade in Sweden. The purpose of the study is to find what misconceptions exists related to the percent concept and how common each of them are. It is a quantitative study where the misconceptions that are found are analyzed and discussed. The study shows that many students find it difficult to solve problems involving percent, in particular when there is multiple percentual changes taking place.sv
