dc.description.abstract | This essay's research question is regarding how reality is portrayed in the three films I have chosen to look at. With theory that documentaries are framed and portrayed with little difference from a fiction film and have the same amount of truth value as a fiction film. This is debunked, documentary is a representation of reality, also referred to as the creative treatment of actuality. The three films all refer to and in a very convincing way show reality, they do so in a way that holds high regard to reality and tries to portray a truthful image of what the world out there is. But it is very important to view a documentary not as a fact or evidence, to realise it is subjective and it will not always show the broad picture or both sides of the argument. | en_US |
