art.description.projectThe gap between fantasy and desire is what most often gets people into trouble. But what about the gap between inner conflicts and the conflicts that arise between people in society? This question has guided our selection of films from the Filmform archive. The subtitle of the program, “Why Did Harald Kill Himself”, is taken from the film Förvandla Sverige by Jan Lindqvist & Stefan Jarl from 1974. In addition to this film, we are showing works by Maja Borg, Juan-Pedro Fabra, Roxy Farhat, Salad Hilowle, and Peter Weiss. Curarated Montage: Förvandla Sverige, Jan Lindqvist & Stefan Jarl, 1974, 28 min, visas på 16mm Ottica Zero, Maja Borg, 2007, 12:52 min Studie IV Frigörelse, Peter Weiss, 1952, 9 min, visas på 16mm Noventa y Tres, Juan-Pedro Fabra Guemberena, 2012, 18:41 min Vanus labor, Salad Hilowle, 2021, 12:56 min At filmform we are also showing Roxy Farhats Säj något snällt FITTA!
