Provenance: All four volumes have the following stamps on both the front flyleaf and the title page: a beautiful stamp of the, presumably, general Bogdanovič’s Library with double-headed eagle and the date 1811 g., "Iz Biblioteki gen. Bogdanoviča" and 1399. On the title page the following two stamps are found: Publ. Bibl. S.S.S.R imeni V. I. Lenina and Bibliothek Fritz Lieb.
Condition: Bound in demi-reliure with richly ornamented spine.
Notes: Pencilled inside the front board: a triangel within a triangel and 177/31, also found on the title page. On the front flyleaf and the title page: D28/5 and 138–4–16 (crossed over). The numbers 138–4–6 are also written on the bottom of the three first volumes.
