Abstract

A project with the focal point on” doing” or” to do” in an artistic process. A process-based project where I tied knots from straps of recycled fibre materials and built on a textile form. I explored the freedom in my process by allowing myself and the form to grow by choosing randomly what materials to tie together randomly and where to build on the form. By trying to achieve a randomness in my process I allowed the project to develop in a freer way. The aim was to develop the experimental part of my artistic process and in what way randomness developed the work.
