In this qualitative study, the aim is to examine if short films with mathematical situations defined in several languages contributes to students' concept development and whether it affects their attitude to the subject. A big part of the students in Swedish schools nowadays have a multilingual background, which can result in inadequate conditions for learning. I want to highlight how Swedish teachers can create better conditions for learning and communication. Furthermore, I discuss how the methodology for this study can create an inclusive education that results in an equal education for all students. The theoretical framework is based on the social constructivist approach where the results are analysed from Tall and Vinners (1981) theory of concept image and concept definition, and the ability of communication. The empirical was collected during four weeks and is based on observations of three students in Grade 5, with Somali as their mother tongue. The analysis of the results showed a significant result, which is the students' significant improvement in the mathematical area that they studied.sv
