Berghäll, Matilda2024-07-032024-07-032024-07-03https://hdl.handle.net/2077/82206The purpose of my independent project is to look more closely at interaction/communication and contact in small chamber music groups and find out if there is a way to improve that aspect of playing together with the help of exercises, that I have found in the literature about small group pedagogy, through my own experiences during studies and interviews for my bachelor’s thesis. In this project I am bringing different exercises to light with the purpose of adapting them to be used with small chamber music groups. With the chosen exercises I conducted a one-group pretest-posttest research with a duo, documenting, recording and analyzing the results. The most important results show that the selected exercises have a positive effect on many aspects of interaction and contact as well as the musical result.engChamber musicgroup dynamicsinteractionteam building exercisescommunicationbreathing exerciseExploring interaction in chamber music ensembles by means of group exercisesExploring interaction in chamber music ensembles by means of group exercisesText
