Alexanderson, Bengt2011-08-302011-08-302011http://hdl.handle.net/2077/26635The manuscript traditions of Julian’s commentaries on Job and on Hosea, Joel and Amos are extremely meagre. Scholars have contributed to a better understanding of the texts, but quite a few passages remain hard to understand. Thus, some further emendations are proposed. Jerome has commented on all the Minor Prophets. The tradition is much richer than Julian’s, but nevertheless, there are many problems left, despite the efforts of several scholars. Only Jonah has got a modern and reliable edition. Accordingly, some emendations seem to be called for.43fraIulianus AeclanensisJulian of AeclanumExpositio libri IobCommentary on the Book of JobTractatus prophetarum OseeIohel et AmosCommentary on the Prophets HoseaJoel and AmosHieronymusJeromeCommentarii in prophetas minoresCommentary on the Minor Prophetstextual criticismQuelques idées sur le texte et l'interprétation des œuvres de Julien d'Éclane Expositio libri Iob et Tractatus prophetarum Osee, Iohel et Amos, avec des remarques sur le texte et l'interprétation des commentaires de Jérôme sur les Douze ProphètesText
