The purpose of the study was to investigate if the outcome of these measures differed between groups and/or with regard to sex, and also to identify possible correlations between SOK and SWINT. Results show that young adults with repaired CLP had a more positive attitude towards their communicative ability than controls, as did men with repaired CLP compared to male controls. Intelligibility did not differ between the two groups. A correlation between degree of intelligibility and self-rated communicative ability was found in young adults with repaired CLP. Further research concerning intelligibility is recommended, as are more qualitative studies investigating perceptions of quality of life and self-concept.sweläpp-käk-gomspaltförståelighetsjälvskattad kommunikativ förmågajämförande studieICFcleft lip and palateintelligibilityself-rated communicative abilitycomparative studyICFFörståelighet och självskattad kommunikativ förmåga hos unga vuxna födda med och utan läpp-käk-gomspaltText
