These three themes are closely inter-connected, and in the managerial and power positions we can find a "gender- and generational concentration" (males born in the 40's). We can describe the situation as a "vertical gender- and generational distribution", which can to a large extent characterise its management. What separates the younger managers in relation to the older is: how they have chosen to become managers, their focus on personal development and loyalty towards the organisation, how they put forward demands, their attitudes towards authorities, and the manner in which they communicate.28 pages346220 bytesapplication/pdfsvManagement in the health care sectorgenerationpower and genderSju porträtt av chefer inom Västra Götalands regionenReportBusiness studies
