Information technology has come to stay as it rightly used would bring benefits like increased market shares, enhanced quality and higher profits for the user. Modern IT has the ability to simplify ongoing processes of development in today's society, which in particular in the IT area itself are explosive. This has brought a need of effective management for enterprises with connections to IT, almost every single business actor today that is, to coop with the new possibilities but also the risks IT brings up. Management not only from an ordinary view but also in a law management perspective, because the field on the whole is previously unregulated, as it is a new one and withholds several legal issues of significant weight for the future IT-society. Law management provides for the business performer to take the right decisions in respect of matters linked to the legal infrastructure of the business. Furthermore it has to give guidelines when it comes to legal matters as for example intellectual property rights, marketing laws and competition regulations in respect of the product and market areas where the businessman or -woman is or in the future are going to be active. This paper highlights certain important considerations and decisions to be made when putting forward a new product within the IT sphere. It will also provide a background and a presentation of the actual product. The targeted product is in this case an information bearer, which might revolutionise the way we read books, newspapers and other printed information sources, the electronic book.swe
