Sammanfattning
The exhibition THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE, curated by Kimmo Modig at the Titanik Gallery, exhibited for only two hours and presented works to be heard, read and seen by eight international and Finnish artists.
Artists: Heidi Fast, Mikko Kuorinki, Johanna MacDonald, David Muth, Per Platou, Pilvi Porkola, Gabi Schaffner and Richard Widerberg.
Beskrivning av projektet
The piece consists of 11 short sound recordings from spaces with birds. I claimed that they were from all over the world, recorded by me and friends. I question the post-colonial movement within sound art, where artists exhibit sounds recorded at remote and hard-to-get-to location
