dc.description.abstract | Can personality traits affect the perception of stances? In this study, a method of connecting the perception of stances to a person’s personality traits is investigated. The personality traits of 34 persons are captured and related to their perception of other persons’ stances. “The Big Five Inventory” and “The 10 facet scales” are used to capture the personality profiles of the subjects and a set of 21 videos with marked targets persons is used to present different situations to them. The results showed that this method was not suitable to capture the subjects suggested stances in an adequate way and thus no connections between stance perception and personality traits could be made. Suggestions for changing the method are discussed. | sv |
