dc.description.abstract | This thesis deals with the difficulties in approaching an authentic style in interpreting and performing music from the eighteenth century on a modern instrument trying to adapt it to the context of the nowadays listener. During this project I will prepare a performance of the violin Concerto in A from an unknown composer, probably Vivaldi. In this I will try to make a compromise between what is written in old sources about various musical and violin technical issues, and what can be found in the score, and my own ideas. | sv |
