dc.description.abstract | This essay deals with the cultural policy that are central for the politics in Sweden today. The Swedish population are of varied cultural backgrounds and this political guideline aims to unite the population through the cultural arena, including the museum exhibitions. The exhibitions and how the heritage, history and knowledge are displayed are affected by this guideline. The facts and knowledge have stepped back for the theatrical production and the spectator have been placed in the center of focus. It is my conclusion that knowledge is the key to unite the human differences. Archaeology as a science with extended knowledge of the human past and society, the human heritage and the relation to her heritage, should have a leading position in this knowledge mediation. | sv |
